Damien is bad—the original Evil. Satan from Hell on Earth has been his identity since forever. The Devil. Beelzebub. Minister of Evil. Prince of Darkness. Lucifer. Old Scratch.

He’s never been given a choice in this prison of fate, but it’s his turn now.

Hell is about to meet his match. When Damien gets a woman, the only underworld he’s ever known changes. She’s chosen for him, but she’s enough…

Cynthia doesn’t believe in Hell; she believes in kindness and science, and the greater good. She’s perfect, and pure and… dying.

But she’s his.

And he’ll move Heaven and Hell to keep her.

This is Anne Conley's final installment in the Four Winds series.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is the fifth book in the Four Winds series.  They do each stand on their own, but I recommend reading them in order because of the updates from the previous releases.  This one especially should wait until you have read the other four.
Sympathy for the Devil – it’s more than a song by The Rolling Stones.  It became a real emotion within the first few pages of reading this story.  I had tears in my eyes by page 10!  I think I was holding my breath for at least half of the book!  This story absolutely tore me apart, but the re-stitching accomplished with the ending made the destruction all the more beautiful.
As ya’all know by now, Anne Conley is one of my favorite indie authors.  Luckily she loves me, too, and allows me to beta read for her.  When I had finished reading Falling for Faith, she asked me if I thought there should be one more story in the series.  Did I think Satan deserved an HEA also?  I loved the idea of the redemption of all evil; that God’s love truly does extend to all of His children.  I am beyond thrilled to share that I named Cyn in this book.  Thank you Anne for allowing me to be a small part of your process.
UNLAWFUL DESIRE by Chelle Bliss
Title:  UNLAWFUL DESIRE
Series:  Alpha Pi #2
Author:  Chelle Bliss
Publish Date:   09.22.15
Publisher:  Chelle Bliss
Category /Genre:  Contemporary Romance
Received from:  Chelle Bliss (in exchange for an honest review)
Recommended for:  18+ due to explicit sexual content
Date completed: 09.16.15
Goodreads link: Unlawful Desire
Description from the publisher:
No matter how hard I tried to push her away, fate thrust us together again.
Screw relationships.
My motto: Hit it and quit it.
Simple worked. Feelings weren’t on the line, hearts weren’t able to be broken, and I could keep my life simple.
My friends told me to move on and find the “one,” but I wasn’t ready to love again.
Until I met her.
A dirty-mouthed temptress with a killer body that had me questioning everything.
I knew I could ruin her forever, but not without losing myself.
But Georgia Phillips was innocent, pure, and total perfection.  I wouldn’t do it…I wouldn’t be the one to strip her bare and break her heart.
I swore I’d never call another woman mine, but that was before I almost lost her…
Warning: If you can't handle a cocky bad boy or a badass chick with a dirty mouth, this might not be the book for you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is the 2nd book in the Alpha Pi series.  Since I haven’t read SINFUL INTENT (the 1st book in the series) I can attest that it does indeed stand on its own. Of course, now I want to read S.I. as well, because who can resist a Chelle Bliss story of love?  Certainly not this girl!

Georgia likes vintage clothing, so I was picturing a 40s pinup girl the whole time I was reading this.  She’s young, intelligent, and confident.  She’s the perfect adversary and love for Frisco!

Since my own relationship has a large age difference, it was especially endearing to me to see our words spoken by these characters.  Yes, age is just a number when fate has brought you together.  I loved this story.  No ifs, ands, or buts.  Georgia has the love and protection of friends, family, and now Frisco.  What more could a girl want?

As always, Chelle Bliss delivers a story that is equally sweet, scorching, and a little bit suspenseful.

She leaned back against the bar with her tits jutting out and her arms crossed underneath. “What’s your problem with me? Did I do something to you, Frisco?”

Caught off guard by her question, my body jerked backward. “N-no,” I stuttered.

She tapped her foot. “You ditched me, marched off when you heard my age, and tonight, you seem less than happy that I’m here. What the fuck gives?”

I cleared my throat, trying to find my voice and a reasonable explanation. “I don’t have anything against you.” I was in so much trouble.

“Let’s cut the shit, Frisco. I’m a big girl. What’s the problem? Would you rather I leave?” Her body oozed attitude.

I cringed. I never wanted to hurt anyone, but I knew that I had hurt her feelings. “No. Don’t go. I’m sorry. It’s just that Sunshine…” My chest tightened.

“She’s trying to fix us up.”

Georgia filled her cheeks with air before slowly exhaling. “Is that so bad?” She narrowed her eyes. “If I’m not your type, it’s cool. But otherwise, what’s the issue? I thought we had a nice time up until you left the party. I’m a big girl. Just be honest with me. I’m not into playing games.”

I wanted to play games. Naked games that ended with us against a wall, tangled together like we’d played the sexiest game of Twister.
